XXIII AGACS Photography Contest 2024 – Regulation
• The contest aims to highlight the values of the Camino de Santiago through photography, covering aspects such as its environment, appearance, and its philosophical, social, or religious significance. Photos must relate to the Camino and its context.
• Participation is free and open to all adults, except for board members, their families, and professionals involved in Camino-related activities.
• Each participant may submit up to three original photos, in color or black-and-white, in “JPG” format with a minimum resolution of 12 megapixels (12 Mpx) and 200 dpi. Photos must not have been previously published or awarded in any medium, including social media.
• AGACS and the jury reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates the terms, offends dignity, promotes illegal activity, or breaches privacy or honor.
• Photos must be submitted to info@amigosdelcamino.com, with the option of using platforms like WeTransfer or Dropbox. Submissions should include a numbered list with titles or mottos and a separate file containing:
– Photo number, title or motto, and a brief description.
– Full name of the author, ID card, address, phone number, email, and a ID card photocopy.
• The submission deadline is September 15, 2024.
• The jury comprises photographers Salvador Quesada Montoro, Ricardo Rodríguez de Castro, and AGACS president Manuel López Vázquez. Prizes will be €500 and a diploma for first place, €300 and a diploma for second place, and €200 and a diploma for third place. Prizes may be withheld if the jury deems it appropriate. Winners will be announced on September 30, 2024, via www.amigosdelcamino.com and other chosen channels.
• AGACS reserves the right to use all submitted photos, credited to the author, for informational or cultural purposes that are non-commercial, respecting intellectual property laws.
• Participation implies full acceptance of these terms. Any disputes will be resolved solely by the organizers.
